Progressive face thickness was pioneered by us here at Trident Golf. Using this design, the McAlister irons incorporate adjustable face thickness of each iron within the set to optimize distance, trajectory, control and accuracy of each individual iron. Long irons are easy to get airborne quickly, while the scoring irons tend to have a more boring trajectory with increased spin. This allows better distance control and accuracy from the mid to short irons.
