The RD design incorporates many new game improvement
features: a wider, deeper undercut cavity moves weight back away from the
face, a variable thickness face moves mass lower in the long irons and
higher in the short irons for optimum trajectory, a slightly oversize head
with medium thin topline builds confidence, an extra wide sole reduces fat
shots while helping get shots airborne much easier, small but progressive
offsets help alignment and to square the face at impact. The resulting RD
design is truly an ultimate distance iron but with an unusual shot
pattern. The shot pattern is unusual because the RD irons not only have a
high trajectory but it is a pro-like boring trajectory. Needless to
say, a high boring shot promotes a dramatic increase in distance. That’s
why we say the Model RD is longer and easier to hit than any pro line club
on the market.
